BREAKING NEWS: JOE TERRIO SELLS TEAM TO FORMER PITCHER

In a shocking e-mail sent out to the team this morning Joe Terrio has sold the rights to the lucrative Brighton Black Sox franchise to former standout pitcher John Griffith. Reportedly the team was sold for 20 dollars worth of Keno games. The former manager moved from manager to part-time coach in 2007.

In 2008, JT will take an even smaller role with the team. Known mostly for his inspiring pre-game speeches and chewing out of umpires, JT led the Sox with as much class as anyone. I still remember when he helped "direct" the lost blind man out of RF one foggy night at Rogers Park. JTs number will hang from the port-a-potty in right-centerfield and a pre-game ceremony will be held to honor the great owner at the home-opener for the Sox.
